NPM and Autotask PSA ticketing integration

Hi All,

I need some assistance regarding Solarwinds NPM and Autotask ticketing integration. What I am trying to do is simply: when nodes go down in NPM > NPM sends data to autotask > autotask generates ticket on down node with details > when node comes back up solarwinds sends data to autotask > autotask inputs details and closes ticket. Please help!!

I am seeing a lot of information on Autotask and solarwinds N-central integration but wanted to know if NPM can integrate with Autotask. I believe Service Now is able to integrate with NPM so I am hoping I can get some help with Autotask and NPM integration.

Hi,

To the best of my knowledge, Orion/NPM does not integrate with AutoTask out of the box in the same way N-Central does. The SW MSP portfolio is still very much separate from the traditional SolarWinds portfolio. I look forward to the day they become more integrated!

NPM can, however, integrate with ServiceNow, but if you're already using AT you're out of luck (like me).

I have considered the possibility of an alert action which sends a POST request to AT (like Webhooks) and whether that would be possible. It would be interesting to hear if anyone has pulled this off!
