More advance alert issues

Basic alerts works as expected. But moving some basic alerts to advanced alerts really been troublesome for me. Simple up/down on ports...I use the following alert :
Alert: Interface ${Caption} on ${NodeName} is ${Status}.
I get :
Reset: GigabitEthernet1/9 · To XXXX 1/7 on XXXX-GigabitEthernet1/9 · To XXXX 1/7 is
1
All I get is a "1" if it's up and a "2" if its down. I am using the ${Status} macro and it works as a basic alert. I want to see "Up" or "Down"
Rule :
Alert: Receive Utilization of ${FullName} is ${InPercentUtil} %.
Current traffic load of this interface is:
Received : ${InBps}
Transmitted : ${OutBps}
Output :
Alert: Receive Utilization of XXXXX-Serial0/0 - Se0/0 is 98 %.
Current traffic load of this interface is:
Received : 1526404
Transmitted : 24838.05
In V7 and basic alerts I get the receive/transmitted in Kbps/Mbps. I'm using the macros like I used in the basic alerts.
Any ideas?

Bump....support? (FYI...I did send a request to support and responded to them on 1/29. I have yet to hear back).

Bryan,
At this time, some of the alerts you can do with basic alerts are not possible to replicate with advanced alerts. You will want to continue using basic alerts for these cases.
Over time, we hope to make it so that Advanced Alerts can completely replace Basic Alerts. However, as you can see, we have some work to do in that area.
