Acknowledge

Hi All i am new to this product, i am having pagefile issue on one drive and this drive is dedicated for pagefile, i have clicked on the node-List Resources-i have excluded this pagefile drive.

Do i need to acknowledge this alert so that it will be closed or alert will be closed automatically if the exclude the pagefile drive, until the alert is closed i cannot close the my ticket as the ticketing tool picks from solarwinds.

2. i have a disk space issue on one of my windows 2016 server. current size is 95 percent utilized.(out of 100GB 95GB is full). i cannot extend it now, may be after a week i can extend it to 150GB. if i acknowledge the alert now and later when i extend my hard drive to 150 and again after few days if it comes to 145GB or so will i start getting the alerts. what my question is acknowledgement is only for this alert?

when drive had excluded, alert will auto reset per condition of alert, if not you need to check alert condition or you can manually reset the triggered alert from alert console. because alerts not require to do acknowledge.

Second section for drive alert -

Drive utilization alert work based on trigger value of threshold. once threshold match alert will trigger (it is design on product)

you can acknowledge or reset them per your requirement.
