Another feature that I could think of was since 99% of our network devices now use SSH exclusively the button to Telnet to a device is useless to us from the Orion web pages. How about implimenting something to allow us to use SSH????
This would be a great addition, due to the fact that all iDirect components use SSH for connectivity.
Ditto - there are a lot of posts out there discussing this dated several years back so I find it disheartening that it hasn't been implemented by now. There are several hacks posted but seems that this could just as easily be included in the base Orion install.
I have to agree with this. We are 100% SSH in our network, and even something that would allow us to select the SSH params up front (since we use a standard term tool and SSH config globally) would be good.

Yep...this would be a great enhancement.
im jumping in late, and this may have been added (just started the eval of v9.1), but we also do not use telnet. SSH is the way!
This should be addressed with the next release
