VoIP Gateways...Show Trunks, but never Active Calls..

I am having difficulty understanding what the VQNM module is doing in regards to polling gateway devices and displaying the data associated with "Active Calls" on a PRI. It doesn't appear to be as dynamic as I would have hoped. I can log into a gateway and issue the command "sh trunk group" and I am given details about all of the trunks on the gateway, the number of available channels, the channels in use, and those that are free. At the end of this data display, you are given a total for the number of Active and Free PRI channels within the gateway. This data doesn't appear to be populating in my VQNM. Am I misunderstanding how VQNM functions? All I ever see are 0.000% and I know that I have gateways that are using all channels at peak times.

the PRI TRUNK (VoIP GATEWAY) UTILIZATION shows is monitoring the PRI (ISDN) interfaces and calculates utilization by the calculation of active channels, in case you do not see the values there, please try to apply this minor fix described SolarWinds Knowledge Base :: Data is not available on web console charts

BTW, what SQL db do you use is it SQL 2005 or SQL 2008 and higher?

I am using SQL 2012. The minor fix suggested has been done. My next stop is opening a Tech Support ticket.

Did you ever get this resolved ? I'm having the same issue in my environment. However I have 4 identical routers, two onsite that work fine and two offsite that are not showing active calls. We've done all the trace routers and checked the firewalls and router configurations but can not pinpoint the root cause.

Have you checked, if there is permission/access for logging in to the VOIP Gateway. ?
