Remove IP information for some users

Hi,

We have some users who we don't want to see our IP information. At the moment when you hover over an object, it comes up with information about that node including IP information.

Is there a way to remove at least the IP addresses from this box or ideally the box altogether.

We are using NPM 9.5.0

A simple change is to edit the file “C:\Inetpub\SolarWinds\Orion\js\NetObjectTips.js” and remove the following lines:

$("a[tooltip!='processed'][href*='NetObject=']").livequery(function() {

this.tooltip = 'processed';

$.swtooltip(this);

});

Of course anytime you rerun the configuration wizard or install a service pack you will have to reapply this change
