Problem with an Alert in New Alert Engine

Question

I've created an alert to trigger if a particular devices response time is greater than 100ms and the alert resets when the response time is less than 50ms. What i'm seeing is no corrolation between the trigger and rest, sometimes it will trigger abover 100ms and then again it will trigger at less than 50ms and vice versa on the reset.

Is this a bug with the new beta alert engine or am I doing something wrong in the alert?

This will be based on your polling period - i.e. if at the point in time when you poll the node, the respone time is 200ms, the alert will be generated, noting that number.  As resets go, it seems like the new features should allow constant polling of an alert parameter (response time) after the alert is triggered, and reset the alert when it falls below your threshold
