XML Snapshot

We recently migrated to 9.1 SP5. In the previous version, we had the snapshot running which gave us the status of devices. In the version, the only items appearing in the snapshot XML file are the current setup parameters. The status of devices does not appear. Just wondering if this is an issue others have seen or if I've mis-configured something.

What are you using this for? Running a report is a much better option for specific items, and database backups are a better policy for general data recovery practices. This feature was originally intended to create a file that could be used to view Orion on the web—before it had a web console

I'm using Klipfolio (a desktop dashboard) to monitor the status of our network. The gadget I wrote monitors the XML file showing on my screen if any devices or links go down and refreshes every few minutes by re-reading the XML file. It's convenient since the dashboard is always on my screen and I use it to monitor security RSS feeds and other news sources.

What else is on there? What is you could add RSS feeds to the Orion web console?

I have a department phone directory, shortcuts to Web sites, files and executables, stock tracker, weather forecast, file update monitor, etc. Quite a lot of information at one glance on my screen.
