I have a Windows 7 box behind a Netgear router. I have followed the steps below and not had success. When I click create, the NPM server tries to connect to the new Netpath probe with ports TCP 445, 139 and UDP 137. This fails as these ports are not open
I do not see these ports listed in the documentation. Am I missing a step here? Is there a way to manually install the NetPath agent?
Create a probe
You can create a probe when you create a service, or while assigning an additional probe after you create the service:
Click My Dashboards > Network > NetPath Services.
Click next to an entry in the NetPath Services list.
Click Create New Probe.
Enter the required information on the Create New Probe window.Enter the credentials that can be used to log in to the computer and install the software.
Click Create.
Select the probe from the list.
Click Assign.
