Hi Guys,
I am helping our network engineer filter through alerts and the jobs creating these but have ran into quite a few issues acknowledging and clearing alerts from the system.
Essentially i am unable to clear an alert that is present, the alert related to a port going down (planned outage). Since the outage the port has been up for about a week but i am unable to acknowledge and clear this alert. I am able to hit the acknowledge button and have permissions to do so however upon typing in the acknowledgement notes and proceeding nothing occurs. The device in question currently has other active alerts but not for the port/active alert in question.
Can anyone please advise what i am doing incorrectly, please be aware i am entirely new to solarwinds and may need some extra in depth directions

Just to add, have been doing some reading and our alerts are "advanced" (as i understand basic alerts cannot be cleared).
