I can select another agent and click save and after a few minutes, it will switch back to what it was and save is grayed out.
Has anyone seen this behavior? and know of a fix?
Sounds like the console is having issues. If you close your browser and reconnect, does the setting stick?
I changed it from the unwanted agent "Server A" to one I prefer, "Server B" Clicked Save then closed the console and re-launched it.
After it came up, it was showing "Server B" but switched back to "Server A" right before my eyes within a minute or so.
I re-selected "Server B" but the Save button is grayed out.
Once again, I closed the console and re-launched it. "Server B" is listed but switches back to "Server A" automatically
Closing the console I noticed that it shows "Server B" just before it disappears.
When I bring the console back up "Server B" is showing as the default agent, then switches to "Server A"

Have you tried making this change via the web console instead of the AIR console?
We're up to LEM 6.2.1 HF2, can you upgrade in case this is a bug we already fixed?
I updated to 6.2.1 HF1 (I don't see a download for HF2 in my customer portal)
Unfortunately, the same behavior still exists.
My web console doesn't allow me to log in. I can type my name and password, click connect, then nothing but endless spinning barber pole.
I had a support call with a tech yesterday (for a separate issue) and I mentioned this to her at the end of the call. After some research, she said that this is a known issue. Unfortunately there isn't a fix. It's hampering me somewhat in not being able to do whois, nslookup, and tracert from within the console. Yeah, I know I can run these outside of the LEM. Right now it's an annoyance because my default command agent is stuck on a server in the UK.
Support should have at least opened up a case for you on this one that way it can get tied to the known issue. Also they may actually have a workaround for you too.
