Internet Explorer problem

I'm having trouble getting Orion to come up on IE. I did the basic installation. When I created the webpage using the wizard, I put the IP of the local host, and port 80. I left the default path that was giving to store all the webpage info. On the Windows start menu I click on Orion's Webpage link and IE comes up, but it doesn't find that page. Any ideas? Thanks.

Are you getting a 404 error or service unavailable? Have you had any previous evals. on this machine? Do you have any modules such as Netflow?

I had been using What's Up Gold and IPmonitor. I unistalled both before installing Orion. I'm getting service unavalable.

What OS are you using?

Also - open the IIS Manager and verify that the default website is the SolarWinds NetPerfMon website and also youmay want to try to and reinstall IIS to see if that clears it up.

I'm Running Windows XP. The default website is NetPerFMon website but it is not running. It says "The request is not supported". Here is the exact error I get when I open IE:

HTTP 403.1 Forbidden: Execute Access forbidden internet information services.

You have attempted to execute a CGI, ISAPI, or other executable program from a directory that does not allow program to be executed.

Hi magic_man!!

I just suggest you to use firefox, because it is more safer and advance as compare to IE.
