Alert based on Trend Line
Harsem
I was wondering if this is possible within Orion. I like the 95th percentile line in the various graphs that we can get from Orion. This is great to see (especially after having this for 6 months) what the baseline of a system is.
However, is it possible to have an alert set-up that triggers once the 95th percentile barrier is broken? Lets say based on hard disk usage on a particular volume?
Further - has anyone been able to set up an alert that checks for a memory leak in an application? Here I am thinking of checking the memory allocation of a program 3 or 4 times and if each time the memory usage has increased that it then triggers an alert.
Thank you all for the tips we have been able to get from this Forum - Orion is a great tool.
Before I forget, we are on 8.0.1 and have installed all the latest service packs.
Jens
