V8.1 and Windows 2000

I just noticed in the system requirements for V8.1 that Windows 2000 is no longer listed as a supported OS. Is that really the case? If so, then there really isn't a simple "upgrade" for folks currently running on W2K. OUCH!!!

Yes that is the case-

Warning: Though the upgrade of version 7.5 to version 8.1 should be blocked on a server running Microsoft Windows 2000, it is not. Do not upgrade your Orion implementation until you upgrade your server to Windows 2003. Windows 2000 is not a supported operating system and the database upgrades cannot be rolled back.

Is this for 8.1 only? What about previous versions of v8, is Windows 2000 supported?
