Remote Desktop - Very Cool

Question

Ok so the integrated shortcuts to Remote Desktop are pretty damn cool. But wouldn't it be nice if there was a check box that allowed you to connect to the console?

In a .RDP file it would be the same as adding the line

connect to console:i:1

or if you use the Remote Desktops MMC checking the "Connect to console" checkbox in the server properties does the same thing.

I have a few application servers that have applications that run only on the console. When you login using TS without the console switch these applications are not displayed.

I have to bring this thread back to life because I totally agree!!

I manage hundreds of servers, almost all of them with applications that run on the console session.

Can Solarwinds Product Development put this on the "to-do" list for the next Service Pack??? ;)

Can't this be changed so that remote control is a configurable component, I use VNC as a standard on all my boxes (Netware, Linux and Windows).
