Scroll news or add RSS ticker to home page?

I want to scroll top news stories in one columnn of the home page, is that possible using RSS or something? I tried the custom html but the pages I tried just display like a mess.

a ticker would be great!!! though i would love to see it as an option on the Orion console, but also on the EOC...

Ditto the idea of a scroller.... We have used something like this in the past that would scroll down devices across the top with down times. Keeps it visible to all who are looking. This can also be used to post information to keep those informed.....

Good idea, I will add it to the list of things for consideration for future releases.
