Create widget based on OIDs

The MIBs for our Extreme switches have been added to the MIB database and installed in Solarwinds. What I want to do is create a widget displaying a table of switch names and power supply status (OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.1916.1.1.1.27.1.2 - extremePowerSupplyStatus).

In the Orion Universal Device Poller utility, I can select the above ID and test it against a switch and values are returned successfully. I just need to change the numerical value into a text description.

Any help appreciated.

When you are creating a UNDP there is a section where it asks you about the format of the OID being polled and you can create enumerations, i don't have a screenshot handy but if you edit an existing undp I remember its about in the middle of the screen. The enumeration screen is basically like a spreadsheet where you put the number in one column and the human readable friendly name in the other and it will automatically translate them for you.

I found it under "Advanced", thanks a lot. I added the table to the Node Summary page but I get 2 versions of it. I changed 1 to limit the display to the first 3 table row but I would like to make a max of PSU 1, 2 and 3 displayed, but I can't get rid of the second table which has 32 rows... Any suggestions?

What I would ultimately like to do is create a table of all switches with the number of power supplies. When I apply the UDP to all switches, will that be stored in the database that I could do a query on?

Update, I can remove the second table ok, I just can't work out how to limit the table to PSU 1, 2 and 3. Also stuck with a widget with all switches and PSU count

to do anything more specific youll probably end up wanting to do a custom swql widget with some where conditions, the ootb table widget is kind of limited. You can go in there and uncheck each row that you dont want to display but i cant guarantee that the row id would always be the same across all switches for what you are trying to display.

I've been looking at SWQL but I can't see how to query a node with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.1916.1.1.1.27.1.2 to get the power supply status. Is that even possible?
