Advanced Alert condition group

I have created an advanced alert using a condition group as follows;

Trigger Alert when any of the following apply

IP Address is equal to (IP address of server)

Trigger Alert when all of the following apply

Node Status is equal to Down

But i keep getting an error message saying i need to specify a complete trigger condition. Where am i going wrong? is the a better way to go about what i am trying to do i.e. trigger an alert when any of the three servers status is down?

I think you want to set up your alert as:

Trigger Alert when all of the following apply

Node Status is equal to Down

Trigger Alert when any of the following apply

IP Address is equal to (IP address of server)

Trigger Alert when ALL of the following apply

IP Address is equal to (IP address of server)

Node Status is equal to Down

I am attempting something VERY similar... I had to delete my original alert I was playing with and just start over with the example in the order the JJaslunas shows...

Even then it still isn't quite right.....

I get alerts on all the devices specified in the "Trigger Alert when ANY of the following apply:" even when the node is not down.
