I want to migrate our NCM instance to new server with new IP and database (database will be on the same server). Let me first tell you our current environment:
1) we have NCM 7.6 running with 1 application server and 1 database server separately with windows 2008R2 and SQL 2012R2.
Now but we have done is:
1) New server with new IP and database will be locally created and ready
2) Old copy of database also restored on the new application server as database we want to keep local only
The problem after that is we missed the point that NCM 7.6 wont support SQL 2017 and our database team has installed SQL 2017 on new machine. So is it possible to install 7.7 directly on the new server with old database?
let us know if it is possible to install the higher NCM version directly on new server with copy of old database will be replicated there.
