Transfer Status stuck

I have noticed that we have a lot of old transfer statuses that are stuck within NCM. They have been around for awhile now and I am unable to clear these (ever as admin), has anyone found a way to remove these? i have tried all of the below that i have seen around here.

1st. restart the server - we have restarted multiple times

2nd. tried with the user that I think created those jobs (Admin). It may have been done by an old account which has been deleted as we updated how we log onto this webpage.

We are using NCM Version 7.1

I've found that the only way to delete 'Transfer Status log entries' is to login as the username that created the job. If the job was created as admin, admin can delete them. If jjones created the job, only jjones can delete it.

Was there any fix to this? I'm running NCM 7.1.1 and still cannot clear transfer statues that are created by other users...

Ok so I found a not so nice way to delete these from another thread and just tried it and it works. I figured I would post it here.

Go to the Config Mgmt DB, and delete everything in dbo.TransferQueue.

Like I said, rather not do it directly in the db, rather have it work via gui but this cleared our 522 statuses that were stuck

I had the same issue. I went ahead and updated to 7.1.1 and still could not clear the stuck jobs. Manually removing them from the database was the only method that worked.

Exactly what do you remove in the dboTransferqueue section? Absolutely everything?

To select just the frozen jobs, open DBO.Transfer in the Config Mgmt DB, Edit the first 200 rows
Locate Lines with Status Initializing. Note most values will be NULL.

In the Error column change False to True

In the Status column change Initializing to Cancelled.

In the Cancelling Column change False to True.

Configuration Management will show the frozen jobs as Cancelled.

I have the same problem. My jobs have been stuck for several days and new jobs are not running

Please see SolarWinds NCM 7.3 Release Candidate is Coming! that includes the feature "Admins can clear all transfers for all users from the Transfer Status resource" that you need.

What NCM version are you running?

planning to upgrade to 7.2.2 to see if this helps

I'm not sure whether upgrade to 7.2.2 would help. I recommend waiting a little time and upgrading to NCM 7.3 release candidate directly.

In the meantime, you can try truncating the TransferQueue table directly in NCM database.
