Need to combine the results of a sho command across about 200 devices

Hi all,

I need to pull phon firmware from about 200 devices using

sho cdp n de | i Device ID | Platform: Cisco IP Phone | SCCP

I know the query works but how do I combine all of the results without manually going to each result?

This is what I see on my Configs/NCM menu tab, but it looks like that option was recently added.

Do you have access to the NCM server?

If so, you might have to login to the NCM back-end tool and do it from there. (I say this because I am unsure... I see an icon/option for editing the jobs, from within this tool, however, this version redirects to the web console/settings.)

Sorry I cannot be more helpful, as we did not start using NCM until after version 7.1.

Hopefully someone else, with more experience than me, can provide better information.

I use NCM to gather DHCP leases on approximately 650+ DSLAM cards every night/morning.

I use a dynamic selection for my nodes, so we do not have to manually update the list.

I make sure to check these options below, which gives me a single file that shows ALL output from ALL devices, combined into a single file.

This file is replaced each night, so we always have a current display of the dhcp leases most likely in use.

Hi Will,

Thanks for the quick response! I rarely work in NCM so I am probably missing something obvious. How do I get to the Jobs interface? The AG says to nav to CONFIGS -> Jobs but there is no Jobs option on my CONFIGS tab. I'm on 7.1.1.

Yep, I just got off the line w/ support and they told me it is a 7.2.2 feature, but the AG does not mention that.

Looks like I'm in Windows Task Scheduler hell.

when i install the 7.3 RC version precommand is not working, but in 7.2.2 works well,

Checking precommand is working in NCM 7.3 RC version..
