Reset enable password to use $Global enable password

Had to over-ride the $global enable password on some devices. Now these devices' enable password are sync'd up. Is there a way to point the enable password field back to the $global enable password? I know there's a link to reset all devices. However, I'm looking for a way to do it on a single device.

Ever get an answer to this? I have the same problem, although with the login password, not the enable. I only want to change one back, not all of them.

I need an answer to this because I just ran into it. NCM makes you type a password instead of letting you select globalenable macro. This is looking like at some point we will have to manually changes passwords for devices every time we change passwords on the devices. This is not good!

You can do one of two things:

1) Change the global password setting.

a) Under file/settings select the Login information under Global Macro Settings

b) in here you can set the Username, Password, Enable level and enable password.

This will apply to all new devices added or you can click on Reset all Devices to use Global Login settings.

2) To change a single device:

a) Right click on the device and edit selected node.

b) In the right window pane scroll down to Login Information

c) Click on the field you want to change, (ie. Password). It will prompt you to enter the new password.

d) Enter any password you want or enter ${GlobalPassword} to reset to global one. Same for ${GlobalEnablePassword}. You will see the Assigned Macro to the right reset.
