Cisco stack switch IOS upgradation

Hi All,

I'm working on Orion NCM.

Trying to update the IOS on cisco stack switches (total 6 switches in stack) so that all the 6 switches should be updated with the same IOS.

What are the possibilities and procedure. request you to please share the details.

Cisco 3750 are stacked.

I can able to upgrade individual switch with the help of that link,

but i'm looking for the stack switch upgrade ( all the switched under the stack should be upgrade),

pls share the procedure.

I don't know if this is the correct forum for Cisco Switch command line management:
I believe the command syntax you are looking for is:

!!!! Advanced IP Services ((CORE))
archive download-sw /overwrite tftp://X.X.X.X /c3750-advipservicesk9-tar.122-44.SE1.tar
Note the .tar

I would start reviewing this by starting with "archive download-sw ?" and review each new snipet.

NOTES:
1.
Wait for ----
New software image installed in flash:c3750-....

All software images installed. The switch is updated and ready for reload. Noteing this I would not try to schedule these updates.

2.
Many IOS images will impact the stacks stacking software.

3.
If all of your 3750's are the same model the following will not be important.
Confirm which stack switches have what priority. If you have L3 devices with L2 devices you many want the L3 devices to always be in control.
You can review this with "show switch"

Yea i have read the procedure on cisco stack switch ios transfer, does archive download-sw /overwrite tftp://X.X.X.X /c3750-advipservicesk9-tar.122-44.SE1.tar this updated all the switches under the stack...?

All are 3750 switches or only identical switches are stacked up
