Is it possible to install NCM as a standalone product and not install any other Solarwinds products? The guide is a litle ambigious regarding this. The eval guide says sqlexpress for evaluation is good. Does this mean they do not recommend express for production work loads?

The installer will install all SolarWnds products, however you can choose to only license the NCM product, leaving just NCM and the SolarWinds Platform Core. SQL Express is not recommended for production environments.
