Our SMTP department uses the security feature „TLS“ but we don’t use a separate User/Password for authentication. This is done due a check if the sending servername (FQDN) is enabled for sending mail’s. Within the kiwi application it is mandantory to use User/Password if security is enabled. Our feature request based on…
Since there isn't an AD/LDAP integration, we need the ability to create more local users without the e-mail requirement. E-mail should not be a required field for a local user account, we do not want e-mail configured for security purposes. We would like more than 1 local admin user without having to use an e-mail address.…
It would be very beneficial to have AD Integration.
Currently we are missing out on a big factor of integration the KSS NG software in our company. We really would like to use LDAP for authentication much like NCM / NPM. Please add LDAP support to the tool as this would make intergrating it in to a IT organistation much easier. Thanks.
It is mandatory for us by regulation to have an LDAP/ AD authentification. So add the ldap authentification for Kiwi Syslog NG.
Introduce a Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication feature for Kiwi Syslog NG that integrates with Active Directory (AD) or LDAP. This enhancement would allow users to log in using their domain credentials and enable role-based access control using AD/LDAP group membership.

EG: D:\Logs\$Message.HostName-$Message.DateISO.txt From the support case I raised:- The KiwiSyslog NG prioritize RFC header to fetch the hostname of the device. If there is an RFC header, then KSS NG…
Include SAML, OpenID Connect or other authentication and access protocols. This reduced IT team overhead, Provisioning and deprovisioning access and enforcing Multi factor authentication or passworless authentication.
Currently Log to database stores MSGTIME and MSGDATE using UTC, this should be changed to local time including and daylight saving time being observed. this would bring it inline with everywhere else in Kiwi NG that displays in local time with DST.
