Backup device over another device / Connect via

Question

Hello,

I want to backup device A but the management system of Kiwi Cat Tools have no connection to device A because i can´t route the subnet of this device.

There is an option in the device informations where i can say "Connect via:" device B for example:

I want to jump from device B to device A via telnet. My problem is that device B need a adjusted telnet command like that: "telnet 1.2.3.4 from src-interface eth0/x".

When I choose the telnet method, device B trys to connect to device A via a normal telnet like that: "telnet 1.2.3.4" and that will not work because device A is in another source interface.

Is there any solution for my problem?

I´ve tried something else.

I got an Windows 7 pc in this subnet. I tought i can connect to the win7 machine and then to the routers.

I used this knowledge base entry:

then I changed the configuration of my test-system to connect cia the win-pc but that did not work either, I got following error:

*BRK_TEST_FK_SPRUNGSYSTEM = Win7 machine

*BRK_TEST_FK = the device I want to backup

Maybe you can help me with this?
