Is ipmonitor supported to run on Windows 2008 R2 64-bit?
We have an RC version coming out shortly that has been tested on 2008 R2. It should be available in a matter of days.

HI ErikD--
It's on the product roadmap for a future release.
I'll also mark this for the PM to view.

Any idea when this will be? I asked a while ago & was told on April 22 that: " The next version of ipMonitor should fully support 2008 RC2."
Hi Garetht - we're still working on that - but the "support" is more a testing exercise than anything. I have talked to several folks internally that have installed IpM on R2 with no issue.
Hello Is there any more news on 64 bit 2008R2 Server support?
The product page for IPmon still says Operating System (32-bit only) Windows Server 2008.
We won't change the product page until we do the official QA testing, but several customers are using it on the platform with no issues.
dear all,
i tried to install the ipmonitor v10 on W2k8 R2 64bit running as domain controler without success.
during the installprocess the installation aborted with error message "...may not running on Windows NT domaion controler"
ther is no chance to continue the installation process.
I have found a workarount inside the faqs to install lower versions on domaincontroler by modifying the registry.... but no chance to follwo this steps with w2k8 r2
May you can help me to get the ipmonitor v10.1 installed on w2k8 r2 (64bit) to try it out?
Thaks in advance !
