what is transition flow and times for "transient" IP usage?

trying to figure out what to expect. I know - set to used -> IP doesn't respond -> scan -> it goes to transient.

trying to figure out how long I have with a device down before goes to available, et. al.

Scan interval of 1 hour. Transient interval 4 hours.

scan intervals can be configured on a per subnet basis from the Edit Subnet window.

I'm looking for - if transient and 1 scan where it doesn't respond -> does it go to available, etc..

Scan - nothing responds where something was active before -> set to transient -> continue normal scanning per subnet's scan interval -> if nothing responds in transient interval -> change to available.

yes, so to be clear, if I have my scan interval set for 1 hour and a host goes away, 2 scan cycles will have it showing available, right?
