On the manage subnets page, the width of the column that the subnets display is to narrow. If I nest IP addresses more than 4 layers deep, the subnets start getting chopped off so you can't read the subnet. Is there a way to make this column wider?
There is a note to that exception error in this post- ..give it a try and see if it helps.
Dan- see if this UI tool can help-
Mark,
My database is in a named context of a SQL server. I use the URL:
JAX-SQL-NAMED\SOLARWINDS to access it. Is it possible to connect to this database using your tool? Doesn't like the URL.
Suggestions?
You will need to enter the IP Address of the primary Orion server and the Orion account and password with administrative priviledges.
So you don't need to access the database? Running local credentials with an admin account user gives an unhandled exception.
Works. Had to use the solarwinds Orion local admin name "admin" and password. AD administrator account didn't work.
Any way to increase the description size as well? These also get truncated.
not at this time, however, you could add custom fields at the category level and when you select the level above it all the children including the custom fields will show in the right hand pane. Those coulmns can be dragged into any order.
