I have seen complaints in this forum about averages in SolarWinds reporting, and I have also noticed serious oddities myself.
My main interest is tracking improvement in step durations over time, as we make optimizations. In the Step Duration window, the "averages" are a) often absurdly low, and b) the same no matter what amount of historical data I load. (12 months or 7 days) I cannot trust this data. Have other users solved this problem? Am I looking in the wrong place if I want to know how performance is changing over time?
