Hi There,I'm trying to figure out where to change the VNQM CLI credentials and can't seem to find out how to do this. I can see how to add more but not modify - in this case I just want to change the password - can anybody enlighten me?ThanksSean
Hi Sean,
well there is currently no Credential Manager available, therefore the workaround is: try to add new CLI operation (ICMP Path Jitter/Echo) on the given device with changed credentials, at the moment when the dialog to edit CLI credentials pops up (due to incorrect CLI credentials) you can enter new Credentials into the dialog box and save it. There is no need to continue further since this would change the credentials for the given device.

Radim.
Hi Radim,Really? That's causes me quite an issue then - I have nearly 100 devices using IP SLA with over 200 operations on them - and I want to change the password regularly for security reasons... Is there some other way other than changing one by one on each and every device?? Do you know if this getting addressed in a future update (as in a "soon to be released" future update")?I'm a bit surprised this hasn't already been addressed before - am I the only one that changes passwords? Sean
well yes there is a way how to change the CLI credentials for multiple nodes, in case the credentials are the same, I presume the are based on you description of regular changes. Well let me briefly describe:
Note: backup the db before this exercise, in case of unwanted mistake you can role back
Regards, Radim
I currently keep this as feature request. in the future we want to have single credential manager for all Orion products/modules. The benefit will be that you don't have to add devices multiple times (once as node, then as gateway, etc..) and the credential management will be at one place.
Thanks Radim! This helped me out today!
Thanks for sharing this information.

Where is it pulling these credentials from? Is it user level log in credentials? If so is it not possible to just change them there?
