Confused about grouping feature in IP SLA 3.5

According to the release notes, you can now "group nodes by custom properties". I must be missing something, because I'm not seeing how one can group monitors together. I understand how to set custom properties, but where does this group show up?

I am trying to monitor a single internal web app from different branch offices from around the country. I requested a feature to assign multiple router sources to the same IP SLA monitor, kind of like one can assign a template to multiple nodes in APM. I'm hoping this grouping feature is along those lines. Can someone clarify? Thnx.

The grouping is in the following locations:

- Manage IP SLA Nodes - Add Node (you may now group the nodes in the list by custom properties)

- When creating a new operation (or adding existing operations), selection of a source node allows to group by custom properties.

The possibility to group nodes by custom properties is in the IP SLA node management and means that you are able to display the nodes in groups based on values of a custom property on each node.

As for what you specify in the second paragraph, this is currently not possible and you will have to create a single IP SLA operation on each of the devices.

I am still slightly confused... Where does one display these groups? Is it within a specific NPM resource that is filtered by custom property?

As far as the second part, I guess that remains as a feature request. I would rather not make 20 different operations when I could make 1 operation, and assign it to multiple nodes, ie... a template. It would be nice to then group them to get a good representation of response time to an application throughout our network from different regions.
