Can someone explain what this mean on the node details for a VM?

VMAN Orion virtualization polling is not supported on agent. If you want to poll the node via agent, you need to manually switch the polling type for the node to 'Basic' on the Virtualization Polling Settings page in order to poll also virtualization data.

Unfortunately, our new VMAN Orion polling is not supported when polling via agent. You need to switch polling to Basic, if you want to poll virtualization data via agent.

Even on all the guest? I can see that on Vcenter but guests too?

So we can't monitor disk space usage on our vcenter servers now since we can only use icmp to monitor them?

so we monitor our windows vcenter servers via wmi and linux vcenters via icmp on both we poll for vmware with a domain account.

we poll vcenters in vman via the same domain account and have the integration setup

We are also link to SRM.

so on the windows one i can see alll the attached disks as its wmi.

but the linux one It can't please show screenshots.

as in should i be getting the agent installed on the linux vcenter as our infrastructure team are scared is the only word i can come up with.

You can get all virtualization data (also disk space) if you will not use polling/monitoring via agent. Use just ICMP monitoring and set "poll for VMware" on the vCenter -> then you can use 'VMAN Orion' polling method in VMware settings -> you will get all virtualization data (same data as you get in the past, when you use integration with VMAN)

No, the only option for polling vCenter is ICMP now. The Vmware api still gives you the NIC's but no disks.

I never got an answer about agents on guests. So now I need to uninstall the agents on over 2,000 guests, that don't all have the same credentials in order to use the new vman? There is no way to do this in bulk, because of all the

There is no way to do this in bulk, because of all the credentials needed for WMI.

Not happy at all about this.
