Missing Power Control Unit Status widget for APC SmartUPS devices

I have noticed that the Power Control Unit Status widget is no longer displayed for my APC SmartUPS devices after upgrading to version 2022.4. Inertestingly, I discovered that if I remove the "UPS" resource from being polled, the widget displays again.

Explanation?

Hi Brett,
I have APC3872 in my lab and I experiancing the same issue.
I would suggest to create a case. I will do so tommorow morning (CET Time-zone).

Goodmorning Brett,

Removing the tick made the resources visible again. When I next added the tick back the widget stayed visible.
Still a bug if you ask me. I will create a case with this finding.

Can you confirm if removing and re-adding the tick solved your issue?

I seem to see the same behavior. Once I got the widget to appear, I can add or delete the UPS option in List Resources and the PCU Status widget is not affected. Yep, seems like a bug to me.

We are in version 2020.2.6 . I see the same issue in this older version as well.

Did you get a chance to check with Support?

I'm seeing the same issue after upgrading from 2020.2.6 to 2023.2. Did you ever find an answer from support? I really don't want to have to do this for 400 units.

Hi, My Appologies i did not responce sooner. I did not see the issue under resolved.

I opened a support case and the issue has been resolved.

1. Make a DB backup
2. Run this query to apply against one node (example node 7881):

update [Ctx_C_Orion_PowerControlUnit]
set [OrionNodeID] = [Node.Id]
where [Node.Id] = 7881

3. Verify if the PCU status is displayed correctly in Node Details

4. If this query has worked for one node, then you can run it for all other nodes:

update [Ctx_C_Orion_PowerControlUnit]
set [OrionNodeID] = [Node.Id]
