Monitor VMWare in Storage Manager

I've read the guides, and searched on thwack but I'm at a loss. I'm trying to set up a proxy agent on a Windows server and monitor our VCenters in Storage Manager. So far I'm coming up short and I'm not seeing the VMware option on the Storage Manager website. Could use some assistance.

Hi mharvey,

First - Are you using a GA version of STM or the new Beta? If it's the new Beta, please direct your comments to the Beta forum.

Second - You should see a "Getting Started" screen that looks like this (I've highlighted the add VMware section):

If that section is missing, it may mean that you have a Storage Profiler (vs. Storage Manager) key applied.

It's a GA and it is Storage Profiler. I'm guessing it has to be Storage Manager in order to use the Virtualization?

Yes, Storage Profiler (PL) does not include VMware monitoring that is included in Storage Manager (STM).
