Can someone give me an update on whether Orion NPM and Storage Manager can be installed on a single server please.
They would both be low level license sizes, so resources is not the issues.

I was just chatting about this earlier today. STM has an embedded DB and so it is not recommended to install with NPM. Is your NPM DB also on this same server? The DB is the heart of Orion and any slow performance of it will relate directly to the application itself.

We have a customer who has both of these solutions installed on the same server, but with the recent version releases and architecture changes, we have another customer who will need to provision another server and I was interested if there was any new reasons why this cannot be done.
Our recommendation is to separate them, but unless it is a requirement they must be on separate machines it will be the customers decision. SQL Server is not on the same server.
You might be a little better off with the SQL server on another box and the fact that you didn't mention NTA being on the box. The future for this customer would definitely be separating them if their environment grows.
