My team is going to be taking over our log monitoring infrastructure and in an attempt to minimalize tool sets I was going to see if anyone had monitored syslog-ng stats mainly related to log volumes for items such as source & destination message rates. Today that's being done with Prometheus and Grafana. I don't yet have a good handle on how that is working as the transition is still very new, I was just curious if anyone was doing anything already on this front.
