Evening all, I'm looking to build a RAG dashboard that shows disruption to service for a number of nodes.
Is it possible to present this based on warning and critical alerts from within Solarwinds
Thanks
We use a Network Atlas map and groups for this purpose in our NOC, as professionalusername suggested.
I also have gotten tons of mileage out of alexslv 's "All Components with Problems" resource post which could be adjusted for this purpose if you have a little time and SQL savvy.

Well, for alerts based on critical, warning and status values of nodes you can use network atlas and build a map type dashboard. You can use groups and submaps to pool things together for aggregate status.

Hi Matt, this would be for a webpage that customers would use to get real time service availability. So something along a traffic light system for a group of specific nodes, but to show green amber or red if there was any disruption to service regardless of what element was causing the issue
With atlas you can do one dot that represents a group of specific nodes. It will change from Green to yellow or red regardless of which element is causing the issue.
Hi Matt, this would be a more line by line for each service such as exchange, sharepoint, SAP etc
with the group icons you can specify the type of status roll up.
