Advanced Alerts on Multiple Statistic Values

Question

I would like to see an example of how this is done. I've been trying to get it to work for several hours now. I can't seem to match a statistic from our Radius servers. Here's a screenshot of what I've got.

If I remove the bottom condition group, I get an alert for the 4th value out of 10 for some reason, I can see this by including the variables ${MultiValueStatistics} and ${StatisticData} in the alert.

You may want to open a case with SolarWinds support.  They can look at the query created by the alert in the AlertDefinitions table, then look at the APM_AlertsandReportsData view in the database to see what information is able to be pulled, and what corrections need to be made to the alert.

Rather than using the * you'd want to use % in order to make the name convert logically into a SQL statement.  What I would recommend is a condition group of"

Trigger when any of the following apply:

Statistic Data Name starts with access%

Statistic Data Name starts with Access%

This should allow the wildcard to be accepted.
