We needed some custom CPU load values monitored so we created a script and set it to be called via the "pass" method by SNMP on Linux. Then from Manage Pollers we created a custom poller to collect these values and a custom graph to show them. This has been working fine.
We recently upgraded SAM to 6.3 and now have agents in the Linux world. This is fantastic except... discovery does not see the custom poller. Attempts to assign the custom poller to an agent-using Linux server fail with "Not a Match".
These nodes were set up to be polled by agent and the appropriate community string added and tested where it says "Include SNMP Credentials".
Does an agent on Linux not check for custom SNMP pollers?
