IBM Xenobridge - What is it?

Question

While in a meeting the other day I was asked if we can monitor an IBM Xenobridge database. Since I've never heard of this database I asked the admin for more details and it seems we are both learning about this one together. After a bit of googling, this post mentions it as a local database used for migrating from one type of database to another. I'll try to use a script monitor via SAM (if possible) and wanted to know if anyone has any expierence utilizing the Xenobridge database or better yet monitoring the Xenobridge database. I'll update this thread with any findings.

Correct, it is a tool used for migrating or upgrading databases. The tool is only used and available as a service through IBM's partners such as FAMSOFT.

The service is designed to help customers reduce cost, reduce complexity,reduce time and reduce risk for migrations and upgrades of databases.

My understanding of Xenobridge is that it's not a database, but rather a database migration tool used by IBM Global Services; if for instance you wanted to migrate from HP Oracle9i to AIX Oracle 10g.
