Monitoring Data Source availability and number of connections for a Java run time instance

Hi,

I wonder if you can help. We have a requirement to monitor data source connections related to to a Java Run time (being used as part of JBOSS implementation). I have looked at the JMX monitor and can't seem to find attributes regarding data source (or connection pool) connection and activity.

Can this be achieved within Solar winds and which monitor should I be using?

Happy to answer clarifications questions as required.
