component url link in APM report?

Has anyone else been able to get your reports to have links to an APM component screen? If I use the URL below in my alert emails it works great. the url shows up and I can click on it to get to the page in ORION for that specific component on a specific node.

But if I put that in the Web URL text box for a report, it doesn't show up. If I put the node URL in that same box, it does show up. It looks like this is a bug or something. this isn't for an advanced SQL report either.

/Orion/APM/ApplicationDetails.aspx?NetObject=AA:${ComponentID}

/Orion/APM/ApplicationDetails.aspx?NetObject=AA:${ApplicationID}

we have verified that this is currently not supported by APM. We are tracking this internally FB61164 and it will be considered for a future release.

thanks. It's kind of weird because that ID is in the select statement and if you type in the url manually with the id for a given node it works fine. it's almost like come time for the email it loses track of the id and then just picks one seemingly randomly.

I do not believe it has been incorporated in v4.2. If you are interested in seeing fixed issues in v4.2 I would suggest looking through the Release Notes.

I was able to get an Advanced SQL report to include proper links to the APM pages...

/Orion/APM/ApplicationDetails.aspx?NetObject=AA:${ID}

The field in APM_Applications that contains the AppID is named 'ID'. Not sure if this will work with the other pre-built Reports, but it does work on the following Solarwinds install:

SolarWinds Orion Core 2011.1.1, APM 4.0.2 SP4, NPM 10.1.3
