Hi All ,
I have an issue with Solarwind . In one of the databases , the performance counter not found for data file size , log file size etc ( file attached )
The SQL version is standard edition .
Any feedback is really appreciated
Cheers
Have you tried rebuilding the performance counters by running "lodctr /r" on the SQL server? If you are receiving this error it means that those metrics aren't available for that database, but they should be. Is there anything special about this database? E.G. is it dismounted? Is its compatibility level set to SQL 2000 or earlier? Etc..
Thanks for your response . Very appreciate it !
I haven’t tried it yet hmmm is there any bad impact from that à lodctr /r”
??
What do you mean by dismounted database ?

No harm should come from rebuilding the performance counters. It's a fairly common and routine troubleshooting procedure as the performance counter database in Windows can sometimes become corrupted. As for dismounted databases, this often done for database backups, restorations, or when a database is no longer used but remains referenced in of off chance it will return someday.
Note: If its a 64bit platform run the following to rebuild the perf counter db:
C:\Windows\system32>cd ..
C:\Windows>cd syswow64
C:\Windows\SysWOW64>lodctr /R
