APM v2: Feature List?

I understand that APM v2 is in the works. Will there be a public beta? Also, Is it possible to post a planned feature list for APM v2?

Yes, there will be a beta. It'll have a number of new features, including:

universal WMI performance monitors
Windows and Linux Script Monitors
A new AppBuilder Wizard
DNS, SQL Server, Oracle, and ODBC user experience monitors

We're not quite ready for the Beta for 2.0, but it's not that far in the future.

We will provide generic monitoring of WMI Performance Counters, which will give you all the AD info you can ask for.

I would like to be involved in the beta also, especially if it has "built in" oracle monitoring.

We did not purchase APM previously because we need something that monitors Oracle. So being in the beta would be great to see if it answers our needs.

I'm going to put the brakes on the beta requests for the moment. We are making great progress on APM 2.0, but we're not quite ready for beta, and I am not ready to manage the APM beta. I'm still in the middle of the NPM 9.0 beta program. I promise that I will put out a beta sheet for folks to sign up for the APM beta when it's ready. Until then, I can't accept posts on this thread as ones that I'll automatically add to the beta.
