Volume threshold alerting

Question

I’m trying to figure out the best way to include/exclude certain volumes alerts by a subset of servers using the trigger conditions within the threshold alert I have setup.  I have servers with the same volume name that would need to go to one team vs another based on the server name and volume letter.

What is the best way do setup the trigger conditions to accomplish this?

If the teams are server specific, then you could create a custom property for Nodes called something like Alert_Team.

Then you could call this in the alert email addresses for your alert using this formula in the "To:" field: ${N=SwisEntity;M=Volume.Node.CustomProperties.Alert_Team}. This will allow your alert to be dynamic for all volumes and still alert the appropriate teams.
