CIM information from IBM HS22 runing ESXI 5.0

Hi all,

has any one managed to get the ibm director agent working on a IBM HS22 blade runing VM Ware ESCI 5.0?

sensors in vm ware show more information that what SAM is showing

It's unlikely installing the IBM Director Agent on the ESXi host net you any additional hardware details. What specifically are you not seeing that you should? How are you polling the ESXi host? Directly or through a vCenter? A screenshot may be beneficial.

It looks like this node is being polled directly and not through a vCenter. We have an open enhancement request to collect storage information from ESX host polled directly. This is being tracked internally as FB103915. If this node is managed by a vCenter you can manage this node through that and see physical disk health status information.

You should, provided the Hardware Plugin is enabled on your vCenter

The Hardware Plugin is included as part of vCenter. It's disabled by default but is easily enabled through the vCenter UI.
