Sending information to Syslog. Syslog sends to LEM.

We have several remote sites with VPN connections back to the primary location. We would like to log to a syslog server then have that forward its information to LEM. Does anyone know if that is possible?

Yes absolutely! You can do this two (easiest) ways:

A Linux/Unix syslog server
A Windows server with Kiwi syslog

Next steps:

Install LEM agent on the syslog server and specify IP/hostname to connect back to the LEM appliance
Configure appropriate LEM connectors for those syslog files

After doing some more checking I see that Kiwi is supported using the server agent. Can anyone confirm that is still working in version 6.0?

Thanks. My Kiwi is setup to create a new file each day to prevent the files from getting too big. How do I adjust the log file path to account for this?
