I was wondering if anyone had any issues applying 3rd party updates without packageboot xml?
Packages I have that don't have packageboot, wuclient reports invalid metadata with error 80242006. Once I applied packageboot to the package to only install the msi no other options the with pretty much the same metadata the package applies.
I even tried creating a new package to only have the msi and metadata being to only apply to x64, no installed rules, i get the same error.
If I manually push the update out from the PM server console on a package without packageboot it works.
Windows 10 1909 all the packages work regardless.
