I understand that Adobe XI is at end of life on October 15th, 2017. And that a new product is coming that will take it's place. Something called Adobe 2017. Any plans for SolarWinds to provide patches for this product?
Most of the Adobe packages, including Acrobat and Reader, come from the Adobe catalog directly (which is included by default). The only notable exception to this that I can think of is Flash. Hopefully Adobe will keep updating their catalog, or perhaps there will be a new catalog for those packages, but that will be the start.
There is an additional catalog called Adobe Systems, Inc Packages. In there you can select reader and/or Acrobat, and classic or continuous track. They have DC 2015, but have not started new packages for DC 2017.
Hi everyone, sorry to bother you after all this time. I just upgrading my Adobe Acrobat XI Standard and pro to Acrobat 2017 and I do not have the catalog. I did some google search, is it possible this is the right catalog and I need to manually create in Patch manager?

Thank you for the help
Links to all the different Adobe Catalogs are available here:
SCCM-SCUP — Enterprise Administration Guide
But don't download the .cab files, just copy the URLs to the catalogs you want to sync.
Use the instructions for adding third party catalogs here:
Add new update catalogs to Patch Manager - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support
In step 5a, add the URL (including the .cab filename) to the Adobe catalog you want to sync.
joeuser99,
Thank you.
I'm so confused by Adobe. So is the Adobe Acrobat 2017 track available? Is there a catalog or a set of patches for Adobe Acrobat 2017?
Tracking down Adobe updates is never easy in my opinion, but here's some information that will hopefully help:
Using the links that joeuser99 provided above, I added the three new catalogs from Adobe to my Patch Manager server (Expand the products and catalogs list - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support ).
Be sure to update the subscriptions on the Subscriptions tab to include the new selections as well.
Once synchronized you will want to check for arrival date, as new packages are added from as far back as April.
It appears that what you want is Adobe Acrobat Reader 2017 - MUI 17.008.30051 which I'm basing off of the description and the below link:
Description: "This upgrade will update Adobe Reader 10.x,11.x and Reader DC (2015) to Reader 2017."
What's new in Adobe Acrobat DC
If someone else has deployed this already feel free to correct me or validate, I would have to go through and update myself, but it looks like back in April they set this up to jump from 15 to 17 and I believe that's the update that does it.
The applicability rules appear to check for any version of Adobe reader 10, 11 or 2015.
Hopefully that helps.
Thank You jrouviere, I tried downloading those catalogs that joeuser99 posted. None of them have Adobe Acrobat 2017 in them. They only have the old Reader XI, and DC versions.
Does anyone have a patch for Adobe Acrobat 2017 in Patch Manager today?
Mosty all the patches to Adobe's products provided by them strictly, there's no space for open source. If you need something to work around with, you may try this application https://w9.pdffiller.com yet it's more about filling and editing forms and not so popular as Acrobat is, so it ought to take a lot of time before SW community has started to implement some things here
Presumely, there won't be any patches provided for SW. If you're intrested in new sources, you can try this one https://pdfliner.com/form_w_9 , however, it's used more for filling forms. It's gaining popularity nowadays and already commonly used. Maybe it'll be suitable for your work
